Miscellaneous

Drawing has been important to my own artistic work as well as to my teaching.  Looking at my environment prompts me to discover surprising details, fascinating history and complexity of composition.  It also helps to keep my hand and eye coordination active and fresh (much like going to the gym or practicing scales on an instrument).  Annually I teach drawing related courses, and this practice is invaluable when working with art and design students. This gallery is a sample of random drawings of various places, and objects within my travels and daily life.
